Vector Pro, Zenith Ultra or Atlus: Which Home Elevator Is Right for Your Home?

Short answer: choose the Vector Pro if space is tight and up to 4 stops covers your home, the Zenith Ultra if you want a glass design feature, a larger 6 person cabin or up to 6 levels, and the Atlus if you need the shallowest pit (50 mm to 150 mm) and an oil-free electric drive. All three are full home elevators built to AS 1735, run on single phase power, install in 1 to 2 weeks and carry our Factory backed 5 Year Parts Warranty.

The rest of this guide walks through the differences that usually decide it for Melbourne and regional Victorian homes.

Every model offers bespoke sizing on top of the standard cabins. Full specifications are on the Vector Pro, Zenith Ultra and Atlus pages.

Choose the Vector Pro if space is tight

The Vector Pro is our compact premium elevator. It has an ultra-compact footprint, needs a 120 mm pit, and doesn’t need a machine room, because the pump fits in a small cupboard. Its submerged worm screw hydraulic motor is built for whisper-quiet running: we measured 42 dB on our showroom unit. The leak-proof ram design means no leaks, spills or odours.

It suits homes where up to 4 stops and 10 m of travel covers every floor, and where you’d like a closed or platform cabin in customisable finishes.

Choose the Zenith Ultra if the lift is a design feature

The Zenith Ultra is the home version of our Zenith. It’s fully custom-built, with a near-silent advanced belt drive, full glass options and a fully customisable luxury cabin. It carries 450 kg (6 person), runs at 0.3 to 0.4 m/s, and serves up to 6 levels (G+5) with up to 15 m of travel, which makes it the pick for taller homes.

It also offers the widest door choice of the three, including automatic glass doors, plus seamless smart home integration and an energy recovery system.

Choose the Atlus if you need a shallow pit

The Atlus pairs premium design with an electric hybrid screw drive and a low to no pit option of 50 mm to 150 mm, which helps where a deeper pit is hard to dig. It’s fully contained and needs no oil, so there’s no oil mess and maintenance stays minimal. A touch screen is standard, it has a backup battery drive, and full glass towers are available.

Inside, the Atlus shares the Vector Pro’s cabin: the same 400 kg (5 person) load, the same standard cabin sizes and the same swing doors. If you’re weighing the two, our screw drive vs hydraulic comparison goes deeper.

What about cost?

Home elevators typically cost $36,000 to $100,000+, depending on lift type, levels served, shaft, cabin size and finish. The shaft makes a real difference: with an integrated shaft you provide the shaft, and with a structural tower we supply it. Final pricing follows a site assessment. Our home lift costs in Victoria page explains what moves the price.

If the lift is for someone with a disability or an older family member, NDIS and Support at Home funding may help for eligible people.

Building for public use instead?

These three are home elevators. For offices, medical centres, schools, retail and apartment buildings, the Zenith DDA is the public-use version of the Zenith, with electric traction, a machine-room-less design and up to 10 levels (G+9). See our commercial and DDA lifts for the full range.
