FAQs

E1 questions

What power does the E1 need?

Three phase. The E1 is the only Lift Ease lift that needs three phase power; every other model runs on single phase 230VAC.

How far can the E1 travel, and does it need a machine room?

Up to 35 m of travel, with a 1200 mm pit. The E1 is machine-room-less (MRL), so no separate machine room is needed.

Why does the E1 use traction?

Electric traction has a superior duty cycle and long-lasting reliability in high-use commercial settings, which is why every Lift Ease commercial passenger elevator uses it. We don’t offer hydraulic commercial passenger lifts.

How much can the E1 carry?

Up to 2,500 kg (2.5 tonnes), with passenger and goods configurations available.

How fast is the E1?

From 1.0 m/s up to 2.0 m/s, with a VVVF traction drive.

What buildings is the E1 for?

Commercial buildings, apartments, offices, healthcare facilities, hotels and public spaces. It suits low and mid-rise developments.

How do I get a commercial quote?

Provide details about your project and our commercial estimators will prepare a tailored proposal, typically within 48 hours.

How long does installation take?

Installation of the E1 typically takes 2–4 weeks.
